Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager must know all areas of e-commerce; Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc, and knowledge of Inventory Management Systems. They will be responsible for all warehouse personnel and areas for shipping and receiving, order picking, and contract packaging; this includes all warehouse organization for inventory control, layout/process flow, supplies, and on-time shipments.
Manage

systems and software to supervise the flow of inventory and adjustments to meet delivery deadlines.
Provide a safe/hazard-free environment for all warehouse employees
Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and vision
Effective communication to all departments on daily occurrences
Expedites tracking and follow-through communication
Coordinate shipping pallets
Run open sales order(s) report to manage on-time shipments and shipping goals
Training to all area departments with understanding of proper packaging techniques
Training personnel with proper data entry requirements and processes within their area of responsibility
Set warehouse team goals, timelines, and expectations for scope of work
Special projects completed in a timely manner
Inventory Control/Cycle counts (CC), Maintain packaging supplies, reconcile any discrepancies, Route customer returns (material and paperwork) as needed
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
Great interpersonal skills with effective interdepartmental communication
Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
Exceptional time management and organization skills
In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
Familiarity with inventory control
Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
Physical Requirements:
This position is very active and requires Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for periods of time. Also requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items.
