Warehouse Member (Flooring)

Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Warehouse Member for flooring provides valuable support services and functions to the Operations and Field team, ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes receiving, shipping, and moving of a wide variety of flooring material within the warehouse. Acts as a team player and presents themselves in a professional manner. This position requires moderate to heavy physical exertion every day.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Loading apartment and commercial installers.
2. Assists with the receiving and unloading of inbound trucks into the warehouse.
3. Pulls and stages orders for the installation and delivery crews.
4. Assists with the cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and office areas.
5. Pick up materials at vendor sites via a pick-up truck or box truck.
6. Make deliveries both local and out-of-town orders.
7. Cut carpet and vinyl.
8. Ability to read apartment diagrams.
9. Complete necessary paperwork to adhere to processes which ensure accurate records.
10. Provides effective communication/service to others and ensures following appropriate policy/procedures as designated by the company.

Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
• Forklift experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
