Job Description - Warehouse Officer


Our Client, operating within the solar energy and renewable solutions industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Officer to manage and oversee warehouse operations supporting project and installation activities. The ideal candidate will be a mid to senior-level professional with proven experience in warehouse management, strong computer skills, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory control while supporting smooth operational and project execution.







Responsibilities:



  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper stock control in line with company procedures.

  • Utilize warehouse and inventory management systems to track stock movements and generate reports.

  • Coordinate with procurement, project, and installation teams to ensure timely availability of materials for solar and renewable energy projects.

  • Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance reporting, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of materials, tools, and equipment to prevent damage and losses.

  • Oversee the issuance and return of tools, equipment, and project materials.

  • Ensure warehouse facilities are secure, clean, well-organized, and accessible only to authorized personnel.

  • Support planning and forecasting of material requirements in coordination with management.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions, including goods received, issues, and transfers.

  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Supervise and guide junior warehouse staff where applicable.










Requirements



  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4–6 years’ proven experience in warehouse operations and warehouse management.

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse operations independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience within the solar energy, renewable energy, construction, or electrical industry is an added advantage.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
