Warehouse Parts Runner

Description

Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Parts Runner in primary responsible for ensuring that appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained. This position works with management and supervisor to maintain a safe and accountable workplace, while assisting technicians by receiving and delivering inventory that is crucial to maintaining Ambient Edge's superior level of service to our customers.

This position is seasonal and ends early September.

The following represent key job responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Service Technicians by picking up and delivering parts to job sites.
• Load and unload equipment and shop tools.
• Perform additional requested services.
• Maintain and organize the service warehouse.
• Handle specific warehouse tasks and keep accurate inventory records.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and orderly.
• Follow proper safety practices.

Schedule: 

Monday thru Friday. 7am to 4pm.

Requirements

Education, Knowledge, & Skills

• Ability to drive a truck with a trailer.
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Computer skills sufficient to operate in a Microsoft environment, and use various specified software systems
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Long periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, and twisting
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Exposure to inclement weather conditions to include excessive heat and cold
• Fine dexterity with ability to manipulate controls and equipment with hands/fingers
