Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our team at South Mountain Creamery. As a Warehouse Receiver, you will be responsible for receiving and processing shipments, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Duties

• Receive and inspect shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of deliveries
• Unload trucks using a forklift, ensuring safe and efficient handling of products
• Put away products in designated storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with order fulfillment and inventory management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

• The Warehouse Receiver will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
• The position requires standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
• The Warehouse Receiver will be required to work in a team environment and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
