Warehouse Selector (Warehouse)

• Accurately pick and stage customer orders using handheld scanners or pick sheets
• Operate forklifts, order pickers, electric jacks, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Retrieve products from various warehouse storage locations, including elevated racks
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Ensure product quantities and item selections are accurate
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation when needed
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet productivity goals

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math and reading skills

Education/Training/Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, electric jacks, and electric pallet jacks preferred or willingness to become certified

Physical Demands and Environment:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift
• Comfortable working at elevated heights using cherry pickers
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions

Please note, Martignetti Companies of Connecticut is moving to a new location located in Meriden, Connecticut within the year. Employees who are working at the Stratford location are expected to continue working at the Meriden location once we complete the transition.
