Warehouse Shipping Clerk

This position is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of our shipping department. Employees in this position must be able to communicate and work well with peers, customers and our sales department. High attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to follow and comply with all established safety rules is required.

Essential Functions: The ideal candidate will have prior experience with domestic and international shipping and specific experience related to export documents. The functions of this position demand consistency, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Other duties may be assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

• Clean and organize warehouse, equipment, and items in stock;
• Pull materials against orders, then assemble and pack them for delivery;
• Maintain and document equipment, security, and safety information;
• Review incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items;
• Experience in warehouse facility;
• Forklift experience is highly desired;
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50-75 Ibs.;
• Knowledge of MS Office is preferred;
• Knowledge of shipping documents is preferred;
• Knowledge of FedEx shipment processing is preferred;
• Excellent written and verbal communications;
• Able to prioritize tasks independently and meet deadline;
• Shows willingness to learn;
• Other duties as assigned.
