Warehouse Operator - Experienced

Bedford, PA

Shift: 1st, 7AM - 3PM, Monday- Friday

Purpose: Acts as an experienced operator within a warehouse: Receives, tracks materials, resolves issues as related to tasks, trains entry level operators, inventories stock, pulls, picks, and ships orders.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

• Successfully demonstrate all Level 1 tasks.


• Execute final packaging and distribution of products to appropriate destinations.


• Receive material from external operations in SAP.


• Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipments to distribution centers and customers.


• Independently packs orders for shipment.


• Receives daily products from stock transfers and outside vendors.


• Re-orders supplies such as boxes, bags, labels, and packing tubes.


• Works with planners to resolve shipping or receiving issues.


• Performs tasks with little to sometimes moderate supervision.


• Maintains / completes certifications.


• Performs transactions / resolves transaction discrepancies in the SAP / ERP system required to process material movements.


• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring workplace organization programs (5S, EHS) are adhered to for the assigned area.

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates:

• High school diploma or equivalency


• 3-5 years of relevant work experience


•  Does not require vocational training nor a university degree


• Works with clearly defined / sometimes ambiguous methods and tasks that are described in detail.


• Contributes directly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.


• Has some discretion to vary from established procedures with supervision input.


• Contributes indirectly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.


• Previous forklift operating experience.


• Self-driven initiative and adaptability to solving problems autonomously.
