Warehouse Specialist (Low Hazard)

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Warehouse Specialist (Low Hazard) to support Picatinny Arsenal, LRC Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation services that support the installation’s mission.

Salary: $ 23.89 per hour 

Start Date: August 30, 2026

Place of Performance: Picatinny, NJ

Hours of Operation: The core hours for the LRC are 0700-1530 Monday-Friday/ except federal holidays. May be required to work outside of core hours as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As directed, the Warehouse Specialist (LH) performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Requires an understanding of the Retail Supply operations. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.


• Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.


• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.


• Must have an MHE license and be capable of operating MHE with 4K and 6K capacity.


• Use DSS and MCPALMS in the performance of the requirements.


• Other tasks, duties and responsibilities, but not limited to: Ensure compliance with the standard of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, government directives and company guidelines. 

Qualifications:

• Two years of related experience.


• Familiar with the use of DSS, MCPALMS, WMS, and other systems in the performance of warehouse operations.


• Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English verbally and in writing.


• Basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent (GED).   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be a citizen of the U.S.


• Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.


• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.


• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.


• Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.


• Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
