Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for managing the receiving process, ensuring that all incoming inventory is accurately received and recorded, and maintaining a clean and organized receiving area. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and experience working in a warehouse or receiving environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive and process incoming inventory, including verifying quantities and inspecting items for damage

• Accurately record received inventory in the warehouse management system

• Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies or issues with received inventory

• Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and free of clutter

• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule inbound shipments

• Conduct quality control checks on received inventory, ensuring that it meets the required quality standards

• Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or receiving environment preferred

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Basic computer skills

• Knowledge of receiving procedures and regulations
