Job Title: Warehouse Specialist/Delivery Driver

 Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

 Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hour

Position Summary:

The warehouse specialist/delivery driver provides support to the warehouse manager to ensure that warehouse operations are executed efficiently as well as delivering stock to jobsites using Just In Time methods.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in receiving stock and nonstock items to ensure quantity and quality of orders are correct


• Clean and organize warehouse on a regular schedule


• Safely and defensively operate vehicles and equipment, (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.)


• Load and unload delivery trucks as deliveries require and be on the road for prolonged periods of time (e.g. some drives of 2+ hours)
  


• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) Maintain records (e.g. delivery log, etc.)


• Participate in physical inventories of verifying stock and identifying losses


• Perform all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehouse operations


• Move equipment and tools to and from jobsites and confirm locations of tools and equipment using electronic scan devices


• Installation of temporary chain link fencing and operation of motorized post pounder (~40 lbs)


• Occasional installation of stormwater control measure (e.g. carry heavy materials and digging of small trenches, pounding stakes, etc.)


• General labor as needed

What We’re looking for:

• Previous warehouse and delivery experience is preferred


• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally


• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus!


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions


• Accurate and detail oriented


• Ability to work cooperatively with construction personnel
