Warehouse Supervisor

Position summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards while leading and motivating a team. 

Essential functions and responsibilities: 

• Assist Operations Manager by fulfilling job duties assigned. 
• Receive and unload containers by providing direction to warehouse personnel. 
• Ship goods to customers by providing direction to warehouse personnel. 
• Research any paperwork discrepancies or container issues 
• Ensure timely product flow throughout the shipping process. 
• Provide training to warehouse personnel. 
• Manage employee work performance and attendance, providing feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards. 
• Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility to ensure an organized work environment. 
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. 

Nonessential functions: 

• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Computer proficiency including knowledge of SAP.

While performing the duties of the job, incumbent is required to 

• Frequently stand on a concrete floor 
• Walk, talk, and hear. 
• Reach with hands and arms. 
• Use hands to manipulate, grasp, or interact with objects, tools, or controls.? 
• Employee will occasionally sit. 
• Occasional bending and stooping.    
• Will lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. 

Work environment:

• Warehouse environment resulting in working on concrete floor, temperature extremes along with dust and fumes. Noise levels vary. 

 Qualifications required: 

• High school diploma/GED
• 5+ years warehouse work experience 
• Experience in operating material handling equipment. 
• Understanding of basic OSHA requirements and reporting 
• Previous leadership role within a team or group 

Qualifications desired: 

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management. 
• Knowledge of SAP process workflows  
• Knowledge of warehouse Operations
