Warehouse Supervisor - Generous Compensation

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team that will oversee the overall operations of warehouse, employees, enforcing company policies, rules, assign daily tasks and work with other departments within the company to ensure that the warehouse is running smoothly, efficiently and creating or altering job roles depending on the workload of the day.

Report and update any changes to upper management.

Interviewing, Onboarding, Terminating, giving written disciplinary warnings when needed, handling any conflicts between warehouse employees and having a vested role in the decision-making process.

Manage the inventory by ensuring that the inventory is accurate, items in the warehouse are appropriately placed in the correct pulling bays, quality control and inspecting products that are received and relaying to upper management any changes made.

Inspection of warehouse equipment and scheduling for repairs and getting warehouse employees certified on equipment.

Ensuring there is stock on warehouse materials (boxes, labels, packaging material, etc.)

Must be knowledgeable with RF scanners and basic related warehouse activities.

Daily warehouse duties that will include order pulling, packing, shipping, unloading trucks and shipping containers by hand, stocking and replenishing inventory and move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in warehouse management or supervision. Strong leadership skills, knowledge of logistics operations, and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide employees. Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role. Motivating by leading by example, having the ability to influence, inspire and challenge others to get the job done efficiently and accurately.
