Job Description - Warehouse Technician

For one of our clients we're looking for a Warehouse Technician. As a Warehouse Technician, you are responsible for preparing outbound material shipments through staging, packaging, labeling, counting, and completing documentation. You may also handle inventory control tasks such as receiving goods and performing SAP transactions, as well as coordinating the movement of materials to and from workshops and other areas on the campus.

Requirements

A High School diploma or equivalent
Experience operating various types/styles of material handling equipment
Knowledge and proficiency in basic PC operation, including Microsoft Office
Ability to operate a forklift safely, overhead crane, machine (jib) hoists, hand tools, power tools, and tape measure
Basic written and verbal communication skills in English
Comprehension of internal documents such as Movement Forms, SAP documents, and shipping documents
Ability to accurately pull or put away orders according to established procedures
Experience operating various types/styles of material handling equipment
Oilfield industry experience preferred

What will you be doing

As a warehouse technician, you complete order fulfillment and ensure timely material deliveries while processing related paperwork and transactions. You assist with SAP inventory maintenance and inventory control activities, using computer skills to research and manage inventory. You prepare materials for safe movement or shipment, employing methods such as banding, stretch film, or crating as needed, and maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety and environmental policies. Any operational or safety issues with machinery, tools, or equipment are promptly reported to the Team Leader or Manager.
