Job Description - Warehouse Worker

Position Overview: Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

Job Responsibilities

Accurately picks large quantity of parts for production shop orders.
Counts weighs or measures items to compare identifying info and variety against bills, invoices, or other records
Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. Completes paperwork or forms for documentation.
Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and stamping. Prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading.
Operates material handling equipment. Forklift to pull large, palletized boxes from high locations
Performs other duties including but not limited to- Returning stock to warehouse, assisting receiving department, and general warehouse functions

Qualifications

HS diploma/GED
Forklift / Reach truck experience required
Previous experience in warehouse or shipping, and experience with job duties listed above
Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
Ability to lift to 35 pounds on occasion throughout a shift.
