Warehouse worker - clerical and equipment experience needed

Description

IDS is a national unloading service that helps large distribution centers facilitate the unloading and receiving of inbound freight. We are looking for a receiving clerk that can multi-task and communicate with employees, supervisor and our customers. Aside from clerical work, we will need someone that can operate a pallet jack and move freight throughout the warehouse. This will include moving pallets into the freezer, cooler and dry departments. 

Primary duties will include:

• meeting drivers as they arrive at the facility.
• instructing them which door is free for them to back into.
• entering all pertinent information into various computer software systems.
• Maintaining communication with supervisor and team leads.
• Making sure all paperwork is sorted, signed and given to the correct drivers.
• Moving freight, with the use of a pallet jack, into aisles to be put away. 

Hours will be 3:45AM - finish approx. 12:30PM.

Monday thru Friday

Requirements

Ability to multi task. 

Experience with Microsoft Outlook. 

Attention to detail. 

Customer Service skills.

Ability to operate pallet jack.
