Warehouse Worker - Freight Unloader

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position involves unloading freight and ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Freight Hauler:

- Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers

- Sort and organize items for storage or distribution

- Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals

Skills and Qualifications of a Freight Hauler: 

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred

- Experience on pallet jack, forklift and clamp machines is preferred.

- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Hours: 

Sunday - Thursday 2am- finish (approx 10am)

Compensation:

- Hourly while training and then to piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded

 Requirements of Freight Unloader: 

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Should have pallet jack and forklift experience.

Must have transportation to work and be available for the shift.
