Responsibilities:

Assists the Warehouse team in the Warehouse operation, including but not limited to: receiving, shipping, GMP requirements, and filling in at other positions where needed.
Assists in assuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment and loading of route trucks, boxed beef orders, and will-call orders; fills in, as required, in any of the following job functions: receiving, loading , unloading, stretch wrapping, product put away, order selecting , scanning, palletizing, invoicing, labeling, warehouse clean up, freezer work, reboxing product
Works with QA and accounting to assure all returns are processed properly and proper credits have been issued
Assists in assuring any and all special product requirements have been met
Assures all powered equipment inspection forms are completed daily and notifies management of potential safety issues
Assists in investigating inventory discrepancies
Assures that all safety and GMP rules are adhered to
Conducts item to item transfers as required
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications /Skills:

Should have experience or knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
Eye for detail is essential for ensuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment, as well as for conducting inventory checks and investigating discrepancies.
Understanding of QA processes and procedures is important for assuring that all products meet quality standards and that returns are processed properly.
Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules are crucial for maintaining a safe working environment and preventing accidents.
Effective communication with team members, QA, accounting, and management is necessary for coordinating warehouse activities, addressing inventory discrepancies, and reporting potential safety issues.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required, as the job involves physical tasks such as loading and unloading products, palletizing, and warehouse clean-up.

Salary Range: $14 - $15 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST
