A Warehouse Worker at XTalk Prep is responsible for performing various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within our warehouse facilities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting items for damage and verifying quantities.
- Store incoming materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, preparing them for shipment to clients.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and according to company procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is desirable.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting and inventory management.
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities and performing inventory counts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
