Warranty Administrator with GM experience

Description of the role:

Automotive dealership is seeking a Warranty Administrator to process warranty claims via Reynolds & Reynolds DMS and GM Global Warranty Management. 

Responsibilities:

• Submitting warranty repair orders that have been screened, corrected, and verified to be GM warranty compliant.


• Communicate with technicians about warranty RO's 3 C's, GM labor time guide, and related warranty repair order requirements.  


• Assist the accounting department with managing the warranty schedule. 


• Work with the technicians, advisors, and management about deficiencies that are commonly found with warranty repair orders.


• Assist management in developing processes to limit the corrections needed to process warranty repair orders.

Requirements:

• 
  Prior experience in a GM warranty administrator role is mandatory.


• Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with technicians, advisors, and management.


• Strong organizational abilities.


• Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes and procedures.


• Knowledge and understanding of GM Policies & Procedures.


• Honesty and solid work ethic.
