Position Summary

The Warranty Advisor helps with all aspects of filing warranty claims. This includes guiding customers through the warranty process, submitting claims for any failed units or parts, and making sure that warranty claims are processed quickly and on time.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor, track, and facilitate the timely processing of warranty claims for both internally produced and externally purchased product.
• Communicate via Email with customers and vendors.
• Interact with the customer by answering incoming customer calls and handling various customer driven issues.
• Responsible for vendor shipments and making shipping arrangements.
• Provide return documents to customers and provide assistance on any customer related demands in the warranty department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Customer service experience.
• Diesel Knowledge a plus
• Excellent Computer skills
• High Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Applies sound judgement when making decisions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
