Warranty Clerk

Sterling Automotive Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warranty Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, recording, and reconciling warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with manufacturer and distributor guidelines. Our Warranty Clerks play a key role in supporting the Service Department and ensuring our customers’ warranty needs are handled with care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner
• Verify all criteria required by the factory or distributor
• Post warranty credits in the system and maintain accurate records
• Prepare Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) documents
• Tag, track, and arrange parts to be scrapped or shipped to the factory/distributor
• Follow up with manufacturers and distributors regarding unpaid claims
• File sales documents after posting and commission payment
• Reconcile flooring interest statements and selected vendor accounts
• Occasionally meet with customers to address and explain warranty claim concerns

Job Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Two or more years of experience as a Warranty Clerk preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Team player with a professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Technologically proficient and comfortable with dealership systems
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
