If you enjoy working on critical infrastructure in a high-tech environment, this is the place to do it!\n\nAs a Waste Chemicals Treatment Engineer, you will help shape the systems that safely manage and treat waste across large-scale manufacturing facilities. This role is central to ensuring environmental compliance, operational safety, and seamless integration with sophisticated process tools. You will act as the on-site technical authority, guiding design partners and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver reliable, future-ready waste treatment solutions for major capital projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Lead and coordinate third-party design firms delivering waste collection, conveyance, and treatment systems\n * Review P\u0026IDs, layouts, and equipment specifications for technical quality and code compliance\n * Evaluate system performance, safety, chemical compatibility, and regulatory compliance\n * Partner with internal teams and vendors to align designs with facility interfaces and schedules\n * Support construction through design clarifications, markups, and RFI responses\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent practical experience\n * 2+ years of experience designing wastewater, chemical, or solid waste treatment systems\n * Understanding of industrial waste collection, treatment processes, and bulk chemical systems\n * Familiarity with environmental regulations such as RCRA, Clean Water Act, SEMI S2, and local codes\n * Experience reviewing engineering documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience coordinating third-party designs for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or industrial facilities\n * Knowledge of semiconductor tool installations and lateral design\n * Experience with sustainable waste treatment approaches such as water reuse or zero-liquid discharge\n * Ability to mentor teammates and collaborate effectively across fields\n * Familiarity with PLC or SCADA control systems\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Facilities Engineer 2 - Semiconductor Facilities Engineer 4\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
