EKI Environment & Water, Inc. (EKI) is an employee-owned, full-service engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm serving private and public-sector clients throughout the United States. EKI is currently seeking Water Resources Engineers, Hydrogeologists, and Environmental Specialists to support its "One Water" and groundwater planning practices for its clients in the Western United States, but with a goal of expanding services in Wisconsin and the broader Great Lakes region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainable water resources management and integrated planning. They will excel at analyzing complex water supply and demand data, developing actionable strategies, and helping clients secure reliable, resilient water supplies. EKI works on a broad range of projects including water rights protection, water supply and demand forecasting, sustainable groundwater management, and aquifer characterization. Our expertise also spans the development of water budgets and accounting frameworks, groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, water transfers, production well design, water reuse planning (both indirect and direct potable), and litigation and regulatory support. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that shape long-term water security for communities, utilities, and ecosystems.

This position is based in Madison, Wisconsin, with flexibility to collaborate from other EKI locations as needed. Compensated travel to the Western U.S. - primarily California - or other regions may be required to support client projects, attend EKI meetings, or participate in conferences and industry events. Compensation will be determined by various factors, including applicant’s education, experience, skills, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to EKI’s needs for this role.
