Water Restoration and Technician Responsibilities
- Effectively perform Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration services the company offers.
(Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained.)
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect completed work.
- Complete the technician’s daily log.
- Complete Work Orders.
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
Physical Demands
- Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
- Mobility and ability to maneuver in tight spaces
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a self-starter with leadership skills and a passion for restoration and cleaning. Ideal candidates will have:
Experience: Recent water damage restoration experience preferred but not required
Skills: Strong problem-solving, basic computer proficiency, proficiency with restoration software such as Xactimate preferred but not required
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, someone who thrives in a fast-past environment and has a customer-first mindset to build trust with clients and inspire your team.
Education: High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or IICRC certifications a plus
