Midwest multi\-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water Systems Engineer to their Chicago Team!
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project engineers and technical support staff
- Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems
- Lead team in preparation of water system master plans
- Evaluate/design of potable water facilities
- Manage water distribution system study and design projects
- Work with local, state, and federal permitting agencies
- Perform quality control reviews of water models, reports, and/or design
- Prepare plans/specifications for construction
- Represent firm at municipal meetings
- Prepare competitive proposals
- Participate in interviews
- Assist with business development
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of potable water system analysis and design experience
- Experience in consulting engineering, public works, or construction
- PE License or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Expertise in potable water hydraulic modeling (including master planning)
- Expertise with WaterGEMs and InfoWater Pro, plus ArcGIS
- Knowledge of basic principles of water system design/plan preparation
- Ability to travel to client and office meetings using own transportation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
