Role SummaryThis full-time, on-site position involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial water treatment systems to ensure a steady supply of clean, safe water for vital facilities and businesses. You’ll work across multiple counties managing advanced systems like Chemical Dosing, Ion Exchange Filtration, Ultraviolet Disinfection, and Reverse Osmosis.
Your daily tasks will include overseeing plant operations, adjusting process controls and chemical dosing, performing routine maintenance, and resolving equipment issues. You’ll maintain precise records and collaborate with teammates to meet regulatory requirements and optimize system performance.
What We NeedWe’re looking for a proactive individual with a solid grasp of water treatment science and hands-on technical skills. Experience with water system operations, chemical injection, and ion exchange treatment is highly valued. You should thrive in fast-paced, field-based settings, adapt to challenges, and bring strong communication and teamwork skills. Candidates must hold an active Class T2 or T4 Water Treatment Operator Certification from the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE).
Compensation & Perks- Competitive hourly pay: $28.50–$34.00, based on experience and qualifications
