Our Maintenance Supervisor:

• Performs maintenance work, carpentry or custodial duties as necessary


• Responsible for compliance to regulations and adherence to policies and procedures.


• Coordinates and assigns work assignments, and allocation of resources.


• Orders supplies, materials, and equipment as necessary


• Keeps equipment clean, maintained, and repaired
  


• Directly supervises three to five employees.


• Works with vendors and subcontractors, and meets with regulatory agencies and inspectors as necessary


• Ensures that safety and environmental requirements are observed, as well as related record keeping


• Assists with department and facility inventories

What you need to succeed:

• Equivalent to high school plus additional broad specialized training equal to two years of college


• Boiler License preferred


• Must be knowledgeable about the use, maintenance and repair of hand and power tools


• Must be willing to work as a member of a team, and be willing to work flexible hours


• Must be available to rotate the on-call phone for emergencies


• Familiarity or ability to learn online platforms for work orders, payroll and ordering supplies.

Physical Requirements Include:

• Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building


• Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment


• May need to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
