WATERJET PROGRAMMER

Description

The Waterjet Programmer at Progressive Surface will be instrumental in creating precise programming for Robotic and CNC waterjet machinery that supports our diverse manufacturing processes. This role is vital to ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineered products while adhering to the highest industry standards.

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Understand tolerancing.
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Properly and safely replace tooling and materials into machines.
• Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
• Perform the first piece inspection on simple geometry.
• Clear chips from parts during operation stops.
• Identify part defects and alert supervisor.
• Understand tool wear and when to change tooling.
• Work necessary OT to ensure customer orders/demands are met.

Requirements

• Read, interpret blueprints, and produce parts in accordance to prints
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Programming using cad/cam software and roboguide.
• Understand tolerancing.
• Self-motivated individual
• Must have experience with Fanuc robots and programming
• Programming experience with Fanuc controls
• CNC Mill Programmer - 3 Years Preferred
• Robotic Programming- 3 Years Preferred
