Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

The Opportunity

You'll join an established engineering consultancy designing and delivering critical water and wastewater infrastructure across the region. Your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and community growth — from clean water supply systems to resilient wastewater networks. This is a hands-on project engineering role where you'll take designs from concept through construction support.

Your Day-to-Day

• Design water and wastewater infrastructure projects and develop detailed construction plans and technical specifications
• Produce engineering studies and technical reports that guide project decisions
• Research and apply relevant state and local design standards to ensure compliance
• Coordinate with contractors and client engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support QA/QC design reviews to maintain accuracy across deliverables
• Assist Project Managers on a variety of active engineering projects, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Pennsylvania preferred or eligibility to obtain
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in water/wastewater design
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
