Web Applications Intern - Hybrid

The Ideal Candidate

As a Web Applications Intern, you will be responsible for working with the Web Applications team to assist in the day-to-day support and ongoing enhancement of different web applications. This position is responsible for completing the tasks assigned by the managers or lead developers in a timely and organized manner. The position requires a highly motivated, team-orientated person with excellent communication skills and an emphasis on Python development.

How You Will Make an Impact
After required training, make minor modifications to application and programs as directed/required.
Creates and delivers data-driven reports as needed utilizing necessary SQL queries.
Investigates and develops skills in new technologies
Accept tasks and complete tasks assigned by the managers and development leads
Communicate with patience and passion to drive incremental actions and outcomes.
Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have

Enrollment in an undergraduate (Junior/Senior year) or graduate degree program (Computer Science or Data Science/Engineering).
Experience with SQL, Python and Flask framework.
Demonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to remain calm when our high visibility customers come by for help, which could include any member of our management committee. Ability to analyze information objectively and make a reasoned judgment based upon the evaluation of sources data, facts, and customer feedback.
A good listener with a strong desire to help others leverage computer tools. Listens, takes notes, and captures task requests and directions.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Able to prioritize and provide timely resolution to issues and requests. Efficient, and detail oriented.
Self-motivated, takes prompt action to accomplish objectives and able to work independently and as a member of a team.
