Ideal Profile

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role


• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript


• Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby


• Familiarity with database management and integration


• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles


• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations


• Knowledge of version control systems


• Experience with CMS platforms, particularly Shopify


• Understanding of SEO best practices and web optimisation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles


• Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics


• Exposure to eCommerce platforms and online customer experiences


• Knowledge of the Zenoti booking platform is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications


• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to enhance website functionality and user experience


• Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and overall performance


• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple browsers and devices


• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following development best practices


• Implement and maintain SEO best practices across digital platforms


• Manage and maintain website content through CMS platforms such as Shopify


• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices
