Web Developer - Part Time (28.50 - 31.50 per hour) - Start Immediately

SUMMARY:

The role of the In-House Web Developer and SEO Specialist is integral to elevating our online visibility and enhancing user experience. Collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams, this position focuses on crafting and executing strategies to drive customer traffic, enhance conversion rates, and ultimately drive sales through website optimization and effective SEO techniques.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Designs, develops, and maintains our company website to ensure it reflects our brand identity and values.

· Implements new features and functionalities to enhance user experience and drive engagement.

· Optimizes website performance, including speeds, responsiveness, and accessibility.

· Conducts keyword search to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.

· Develops and implements on =page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility ad SERP rankings.

· Monitors and analyzes website traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.

· Collaborates with the marketing team to create and optimize website content, including product description, blog posts, and landing pages.

· Ensures all website conte is SEO-friendly, relevant, and aligned with our brand messaging.

· Conducts website audits to identify technical SEP issues and recommend solutions for improvements.

· Implements technical SEO best practices, including schema markup, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.

· Stays up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

· Tracks and analyzes website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.

· Generates regular reports on key metrics, including traffic, conversion, and keywork rankings.

· Uses data insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize SEO strategies.

· Other duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO.

· Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.

· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Detail-oriented with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Constantly: Walking, sitting at a desk, grasping/gripping, bending/stooping/squatting, finger dexterity, computer input, coordination of hand and eye.

· Occasionally: Standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs, and twisting.

· Occasionally: Reaching above shoulder height, lifting 20-30 lbs., ability to do push/pull motions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or related field.

· Proven experience as a web developer and SEO specialist, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
