Website Team Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Website Team Manager leads a team of skilled individuals and will also manage individual projects as well.  The priority for this role is to define, participate, and promote the overall website strategy for the organization and client.  The Website Team Manager strives to standardize and introduce best practices in the execution of projects.  This person will be responsible for successful project delivery, meeting internal and client expectations, and high client satisfaction.  In addition, this role will ensure that the project scope is adhered to with appropriate change management controls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Website Delivery:

• 
  Manage website strategies, and participate in client engagements and project meetings as required.


• 
  Participate in initial business process discovery meetings with clients to understand the project’s scope as needed.


• 
  Responsible for overall web content creation and content management.


• 
  Perform a variety of information technology, marketing, and website development tasks to ensure that the organization and clients have functional websites that accurately represent them and are easy to navigate.


• 
  Responsible for addressing security concerns as well as troubleshooting and resolving a variety of website issues.


• 
  Ensure that the domain and hosting information is accurate and current to avoid downtimes.

Team Management:

• 
  Manage and mentor a team of skilled website professionals executing best practices aligned with Onsharp’s website strategy.


• 
  Provide frequent feedback on performance to team members.


• 
  Create career growth and learning plans, performance reviews, and goal planning for team members


• 
  Participate in the recruiting process for team members and rapidly onboard team members


• 
  Identify strengths and issues; drive and develop better behavior to create a strong and cohesive team (team building, skill enhancement, training)


• 
  Responsible for the utilization and scheduling of resources

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or another related field.


• 
  5+ years of experience in IT team management and solid project management skills preferred.


• 
  Extensive experience working with websites and strong knowledge of digital marketing.
