Job Description - Weekend certified Home Health Aide

Full Time or Part Time work at your discretion!
Guardian Angel Senior Services provides a variety of services to the elderly and disabled in the comfort of their own homes, in accordance with their unique individual needs. Because of this, our caregivers are able to not only pick and choose the hours they work, but also the individuals they work with, ensuring there is a good match!
Tasks:
The Home Health Aide assists in providing nursing care per the care plan as in the following tasks:

Supervise and Assist in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to include but not limited to:
1. Bathing
2. Dressing
3. Grooming
4. Toileting
Encourages client in self-help or participation in activities to maintain independence.
Assists and encourages client to follow prescribed exercise program which may include range of motion (ROM) exercises, and walking.
Assists and guides client in transfer process from bed to chair, commode or other devices.
Prepare Meals
Maintains a clean, safe environment for client by performing household services such as:
1. Cleaning and changing bed linens.
2. Cleaning floors with mop and/or vacuuming.
3. Cleaning bathroom and kitchen
4. Laundry
Document, Report and Record any mental or physical changes with your clients along with other concerns
Med Reminders
Performs only those duties listed on care plan except when instructed otherwise by clinical supervisor.

Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
