We are now looking for passionate and skilled Weekend Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team, focusing on delivering compassionate care to patients with cerebral palsy in a group home setting.

As a Weekend LPN, you will provide essential nursing support to residents with Cerebral Palsy - helping them with their daily needs and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your role will be crucial in administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to promote the well-being of each individual. Hourly Rate: $40/hr.

Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday

Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit

Shifts: Saturday and Sunday (Day or Night shifts available)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents with cerebral palsy, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on care strategies, medication management, and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control procedures within the group home.
• Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Experience in a group home or with special needs populations is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond to patient needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
