Job Summary: 

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking Weekend Production Associates. The Production Associate could be responsible for performing various tasks related to the production of goods, including operating machinery, assembling products, supplying material, etc . The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

A great production associate is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have the willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and meet daily production goals.

This role will report to the Production Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Friday through Sunday, 10-hour shifts. 

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Set up and operate machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) used to produce filters
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated/ automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Fix or report issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain activity logs
• Quality check product and apply labels
• Performs other duties as assigned

 Required skills and qualifications: 

• Understanding of production procedures
• Prior experience in a production environment preferred
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength (heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible hours (occasional weekends)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods working on feet (10-hour shifts), using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, twisting, climbing, pivoting, and stooping.
• Frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
