Position Summary

The Weekend Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing multiple programs within their assigned sector. They are responsible for supporting and developing their teams, ensuring high-quality client care, maintaining program standards, and achieving operational goals. The Weekend Supervisor serves as a key link between frontline staff and upper management, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and providing critical operational insights to inform higher-level decision-making.

Direct Care As with all weekend employees, the ability to provide direct care proportionate to or greater than the role of a Direct Support Professional.

Special Projects

Administration

• Digital and Physical File Management


• Facilitation of Communication w/ Related Projects

Clinical

• Behavior Plans


• Assessments (New Clients)


• Assessments (Existing Clients Requiring Intervention)


• Consultation During IDT Meetings


• Feedback & Training for Employees

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities


• Familiarity with Regional Center & vendor system


• Physically able to be certified in crisis management and manage physical behaviors


• Able to be insured to operate company vehicles


• Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED


• Certification in Water Safety


• Employable in the State of California


• Able to pass a Live Scan background check

Certifications

The Weekend Supervisor is required to obtain, at the point of hire or within 6 months:

• Behavior Tools Certification


• PCM Practitioner 2 Certification


• DSP I


• DSP II


• Ukeru


• Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED


• Certification in Water Safety
