Title: Welder 

Department(s): Warehouse - Gate Shop 

Reports to: Team Lead & Plant Manager 

Job Summary: Weld either new or used (repair/modify) panel frames, panel stands, gates and related products. Steel and Aluminum.

Essential job functions:

• Receives works orders from Group leader. 
• Determines materials and sizes needed for Work order
• Checks weld quality (Strength and cosmetic)
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and angles 
• Mig weld all aluminum components to create the aluminum frame
• Maintenance on the Weld Machine 
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Participates in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines
• Manage multiple priorities
• Performing all duties safely and as directed
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. College education is preferred.
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of machinery/safety requirements
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Physical Demands (standing, sitting, walking, lifting, reaching, climbing)
