We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join an organization who builds fire trucks.   As a Welder, you will need to have past experience with MIG and TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel.  This position offers 1st hours, Monday to Friday with an exceptional benefit package including medical, dental, PTO, vision, 401K

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials needed for each project

- Operate welding equipment and tools to join, cut, and shape metal pieces

- Perform MIG and TIG, and Stick welding, to meet project requirements

- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards

- Collaborate with other team members to plan and complete projects within set deadlines

- Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries

- Continuously improve welding techniques and processes to increase efficiency and quality of work

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding

- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Good communication and problem-solving skills
