Horizon Systems is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Welder to join our production team. This role is essential to ensuring our equipment meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

The Role: Welding and Fabrication for Custom Equipment

As a Welder, you will be responsible for completing fit-up, welding, and finishing stages of equipment builds using MIG and TIG welding processes. You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure jobs are completed on time and meet company-defined quality standards. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Performing MIG/TIG welding and completing fabrication stages as required


• Setting up and operating welding equipment independently


• Completing quality documentation and routing drawings to the next department


• Using barcode scanners to apply labor to job orders


• Maintaining a clean and organized work area


• Following safety standards and wearing required protective equipment


• Collaborating with other departments to ensure on-time delivery and product quality

Core Competencies

Success in this role requires welding proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. We’re looking for a professional who demonstrates:

• Minimum 2 years of sheet metal or similar manufacturing experience


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical drawings


• Proficiency in basic math and measuring instruments (e.g., tape measure, protractor)


• Effective communication and multitasking skills


• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
