Job Description - Welder - Production

1. Operates and Maintain Welder (Performs Approximately 15% of the day)

Turns and presses knobs and buttons to adjust and start welding machine; orders supplies as necessary to complete job functions.

2. Interprets Assembly Drawings (Performs Approximately 25% of the day)

Reads and follows assembly drawings; determines specifications and alignment of work pieces

3. Weld Pieces (Performs Approximately 35% of the day)

Setup and operate welding, soldering or heat treat metal products, components or assemblies

4. Inspect Work (Performs Approximately 20% of the day)

Inspect, measure and test completed work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring tools and devices.

5. Performs Other Duties as Assigned (Performs Approximately 5% of the day)

May deliver materials to warehouse workers; may drive forklift to assist with loading as needed.

Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
