Welding Engineer - with Growth Opportunities

Location: Johnstown, PA

Salary: $85,000-$100,000+ DOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead research and development projects to develop new welding processes, techniques, and technologies.

• Conduct experiments and trials to evaluate welding methods and materials for feasibility and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to develop and implement new welding solutions.

• Analyze data and results to make recommendations for process improvements and innovations.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in welding technologies and materials.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding engineering, with a focus on research and development.

• Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and materials science.

• Experience with research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
