Hours and Compensation:

  • Full-Time Position, 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Compensation: $70,000 - $78,000/annually

Job Description

The Well-being Director plays a vital role in shaping the experiences and overall well-being of our senior community residents. The Well-being Director should be a passionate, proactive leader with a commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors and will be tasked with overseeing a team to provide a diverse range of programs and initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being across multiple levels of care.

Is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the community aquatic and fitness centers, vendor contracts, staff training and management and program tracking, which includes but is not limited to analysis, utilization, and budgeting.

Creates and provides community outreach, educational programming, and events that support occupational, spiritual, financial, emotional, social, intellectual, and environmental wellness.

Oversee and provide strategic leadership to the Well-Being and Activities departments. Develop, implement, and monitor Well-Being initiatives that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our senior residents.

 

Qualifications

BS Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.

Must be a qualified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or an Activities Professional who is state licensed and is eligible for certification as a Recreational Specialist or as an Activities Professional.

Minimum five (5) years experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
