Wellness Center Coord

Description

We are excited to announce an opening for a Wellness Center Coordinator at our SW Orlando office. As a Wellness Center Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive wellness program for IMA Medical Group patients. The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for promoting mental health and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the patients.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates, plans, and facilitates health and fitness activities and programs for patients. 
• Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, and fitness training that promote healthy lifestyles.
• Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, and class attendance.
• Host social events including Birthday parties, bingo, dominoes, handcraft, social dances, etc. 
• Provides educational presentations and training programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Assist the front office in daily tasks and answer phone calls when the center has downtime.
• Implement classes to promote healthy lifestyles like workshops for stress management, technology use, etc.
• Use our Wellness Center to instruct our patients in Zumba and exercise classes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) 
• 1 year experience as a Wellness Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Educator, Instructor, Tutor, Trainer, or related experience.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience ECW- eClinicalWorks (Preferred)
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
