What You'll Do

As the Wellness Director, you will lead all clinical and resident care services for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents by:

• Serving as the community's Maryland Delegating Nurse


• Overseeing resident assessments, service plans, and care coordination


• Supervising and developing caregivers and medication technicians


• Ensuring compliance with Maryland assisted living regulations and community standards


• Partnering with physicians, nurses, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers


• Monitoring quality outcomes and implementing continuous improvements


• Supporting resident admissions, transitions, and family communications


• Managing clinical operations, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives


• Promoting a culture of compassion, accountability, and resident-centered care

Qualifications

Required

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing


• Current Maryland Delegating Nurse certification


• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in senior living, assisted living, home health, geriatrics, long-term care, or related healthcare setting


• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience


• Strong assessment, care planning, and team leadership skills

Preferred

• Assisted Living or Memory Care leadership experience


• Experience supervising medication technicians and direct care staff


• Knowledge of Maryland Assisted Living regulations
