Your Role

As a Wellness Nurse with Stellar Senior Living in Oro Valley, Arizona, you'll be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. Your duties will include:

• Conduct resident wellness assessments and accurately document resident status on our electronic care system


• Perform medication administration and routine checks of residents' vital signs with a gentle touch, prioritizing their comfort and well-being


• Delegate and oversee nurse duties to unlicensed personnel, including med techs and caregivers, in accordance with Arizona scope-of-practice rules


• Support residents and families through changes in care needs, acting as a liaison to ensure open communication and a supportive network


• Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director and other department leaders to coordinate care plans and resident services


• Monitor residents throughout their day-to-day care, creating a reassuring atmosphere within our community


• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with company policy and state regulations

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted LPN or LVN license valid in the state of Arizona


• Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living strongly preferred


• Compassionate and caring nature


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Computer skills, including comfort with electronic care/documentation systems
