Wellness Vet Technician - Hillsborough

For more than 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We are currently seeking full-time Vet Techs for our Animal Health Center. Candidates must have clinical experience and must possess and demonstrate excellent team player spirit, be able to multi-task, and show focus and follow through in a very busy, fun environment.

• Must have experience with:


• Fecals


• parasite identification


• •Vaccinations


• •Animal restrain


• •Urinalysis


• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BLOOD DRAWS


• MUST HAVE EXPERIENE AS A VET TECHNICIAN 


• Schedule will include working a weekends.


• 150.00 CE Reimbursement for CVT’s


• Must be able to lift 50+lbs

Job Type: Full-time

• Starting pay $20.00!  Schedule will include working Saturday.


• We are not hiring part-time for this position- this position is a 40hrs/ 5 day work week that includes working all day on Saturdays.


• SIGN ON BONUS OF $2,500 AVAILABLE (half paid after 90 days, half paid after 6 months employment)
