Wharehouse Operations Manager

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all physical warehouse operations, leading a team of 25+ staff across receiving, staging, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and cross-docking. This role is ideal for a dynamic and experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can respond to shifting department priorities, and is adept at driving warehouse performance with accountability and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Labor Management

Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 25+ warehouse associates and leads across multiple shifts.

Manage workforce scheduling to match fulfillment volume and maintain productivity across daily and weekly targets.

Conduct daily standups, and performance reviews, and ensure clear KPIs are in place for accuracy, speed, and safety.

Inbound & Receiving

Oversee daily pick, pack, and ship operations for B2B, Amazon FBA/FBM, and DTC e-commerce orders.

Monitor SLA compliance and shipping cutoffs to ensure all outbound shipments are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Proactively troubleshoot delays or quality control issues.

Cross-Docking & Vendor Coordination

Manage all cross-docking functions, ensuring quick turnaround of inbound-to-outbound merchandise without long-term storage.

Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to support fast-moving SKUs, reallocation needs, and inventory bypass flow.

Inventory Control

Maintain rigorous inventory accuracy and control protocols including cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.

Identify inventory risk areas (overstocks, slow-movers, breakage) and work with purchasing to reduce exposure.

Enforce proper storage and rotation procedures for all SKUs.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

Act as the point of contact for warehouse operations between purchasing, customer service, merchandising, and executive leadership.

Execute fulfillment based on priority lists, urgent requests, or campaign-based shipping schedules.

Facility Management & Compliance

Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA, safety, and regulatory standards.

Monitor equipment, coordinate repairs or replacements, and manage physical space utilization.

Reporting & Accountability

Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to fulfillment volume, accuracy, labor efficiency, and turn times.

Lead daily operations reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, or efficiency gains.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years+ of experience in warehouse operations leadership, managing teams of 25+ in high-volume environments.

Experience managing inventory across multiple fulfillment channels, including Amazon FBA/FBM, wholesale, and e-commerce.

Fluent in English and Spanish; able to lead and communicate clearly across a bilingual workforce.

Hands-on experience with SellerCloud or similar warehouse/inventory systems.

Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize department needs, and remain calm and organized through fluctuating volumes.

Clear track record of leadership, employee development, and results-driven execution.

Comfortable with physical warehouse demands and presence on the floor daily.

Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Sheets) for reporting, task management, and collaboration.
