Whole Loan Purchase Review Auditor (Temporary Full Time, Remote)

The Whole Loan Purchase Review Mortgage Auditor requires the ability to review loans with an eye for detail in order to validate the accuracy of the loan information and ensuring that Agency/Investor guidelines have been met. Auditors are expected to review multiple files containing numerous loan documents and conditions while working with numerous lenders to perfect a loan for purchase by the end investor.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Work Assignment: Temporary 90-day position, possibility to extend or convert to full-time based on continued work volume.

Responsibilities:

• Performs a thorough review of the loan file, determine any discrepancies throughout the loan documents and accurately report discrepancies in a client-ready fashion.
• Accurately completes audit checklists, answering all questions completely.
• Maintains current knowledge regarding processing, closing, post-closing and associated regulatory and agency guidelines as they relate to the quality control audit functions.

• 3+ years of Mortgage loan processing, closing, and/or post-closing experience
• Ability to accurately analyze and assess basic income documentation
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent verbal/written communications with customers, internally and externally
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work fulltime hours effectively and consistently
• Reliable/functional high speed internet access
• Computer/laptop/monitors (If remote worker)
